Sonophone

Sonophone was manufactured and distributed by Sonophone Electronics based in Auckland and a division of Teltherm Industries. They made a range of amplifiers, speakers and stereo consoles. The turntables were fitted with either a Lenco or Garrard deck and the cartridges supplied were Shure. Sonophone had production run that ended sometime in the late 1970's. A few models exist today but in small numbers.

Here is somewhat a rare brochure which features a line up of products available at the time.
